For jobs above the value of £30, free collection and delivery service is available within a 20 mile radius of Beverley including Hull, Bridlington etc. For jobs above £180, collection and delivery is available within a 50 mile radius of Beverley. for collections outside these areas, please contact me.

BASIC SETUP.
The basic setup includes, removing strings, feeding fingerboard, adjusting truss rod, fitting new strings, setting optimum action, setting intonation, clean and polish.
All prices are plus strings.

A WORD ABOUT SETUPS. The way a guitar is setup can make or break a guitar. Most guitars come from the manufacturer with a catch all setup which might not suit everybody. Also things can change drastically when the guitar is in transit. Many high end guitars might benefit from a setup even when new. Low end guitars often have a very basic setup, indeed many lower end guitars come from the factory almost unplayable. Because of modern manufacturing techniques, even the cheapest guitars can be made to play and feel like a much more expensive instrument once subjected to a good setup.

Nowadays I'm using mainly Jescar fret wire and Evo gold. These are both very hardwearing fret wires although I'm still happy to use Dunlop fret wire. For vintage guitars, I only use Dunlop nickel silver as modern types can change the overall sound and may reduce values
